How I ended up pouring concrete in Springdale
I came to concrete later than most. After years in another line of work, I learned the trade on other people's crews, and in 2023 we started our own business right here in Springdale. Starting late taught me to ask a lot of questions, so now I try to explain things the way I wish somebody had explained them to me.
Most of our calls come from homeowners, plus some folks building new houses and a few small business owners. We're best known for driveways, patios and steps, and you can see everything else we take on from our home page. What I care about most is the part you can't see once the pour is done, the ground under your slab and where the rain runs off it. I'd rather talk a choice through twice than have you surprised later.
What you can count on when we pour your concrete
The owner on your job from start to finish
I come out to look at every job and write the estimate myself, and I'm on site while our crew builds it. That way the person who planned your driveway or patio is standing there when it goes in, and we're licensed and fully insured the whole way through.
A solid base and a plan for the water
We put most of our time into the subgrade, the packed dirt and gravel your slab sits on, because a base that's only raked level tends to settle and take the concrete down with it. We also check where the water runs before we set any forms, so your new slab is built to shed rain away from the house.
Straight talk about cracks
Concrete can crack, and I'll tell you that up front instead of pretending it won't. We plan the control joints, shallow cuts that give the slab a place to crack, so any cracks stay in line and out of sight as much as possible, and we walk you through the finish and the steel inside before you sign.
